Inner Peace

If there was somewhere that I would go to find my inner peace I'm certain this would be it.

I've been all over the place this week thinking about this race.  This is definitely a 'destination race' in my book.  And no matter what happens it will be an amazing weekend.

I'm feeling back to full bars on the vitality scale.  I have been able to keep carbs down for 2 days now but no running to speak of this week.  And through all the flu-mess, I feel extremely confident that I'm going to have a GREAT race.  Is it bad to be overly-optimistic?  I hope not cause I just have a good vibe about this one... (Yay!)

  2. Not running this week will only help you. The weather will be great tomorrow. Start slow and enjoy the views over the Pacific Ocean.

  14. Just read your blog for the first time. Good luck with your 12 marathons. I will have to read more to figure out where and when. I think what is harder than actually running them is figuring out how to get away for several days per month and travel (and pay for the trips). Then again, I've got 3 little kids and a wife who all want to come with me.
